The Optimist Club of Fort Worth has been selling Christmas trees at Farrington Field since 1953. It is the primary fundraiser for all of our local youth programs. We now have families into their third generation of coming to our lot as a Christmas tradition.
Our lot is managed by Optimist members who believe in serving our youth!
The type of trees occasionally vary based upon availability of the growers, who are based either out of the Pacific Northwest or Michigan, but are always of the best quality. Our prices are competitive with local plant nurseries and the monies go to the a good cause! (We will deliver locally for a small fee. Check with the lot manager for details before purchase.)
The Optimist club does a great deal for the youth of Fort Worth. But it takes funding, and most of our funding is raised through this 50 year tradition of selling Christmas trees at Farrington Field. Optimist Christmas trees have become a Fort Worth institution and tradition for multiple generations of city residents.
